Cups o' Joe

Tea Leaf Writing brings you a completely modified Forumotion reputation system, using a bit of CSS know-how and renaming the system. How does it work?

Whenever a user publishes a post that you like, you can show your appreciation by buying them a cup of coffee, or in this case, a Cup o' Joe. To do this, simply click on the next to the Online/Offline bar on their posts to buy them their coffee (it will remain on the same side of the post if you have switched the post-profile display to the right). When the page refreshes you should now just see a letting you know that you have successfully awarded them their coffee.

Users can't give themselves Cups o Joe. That would just be unfair... and you might become caffeine-crazy.

Keep in mind that this system was implemented with the idea of having our own "Like" system (think of Facebook, or typical weblogs). If you read another users literary (or graphic) contribution and you find it fascinating, entertaining, inspiring, etc., do them a favor and show your appreciation for that piece of work by clicking the on their post. This is a great way to let them you know you like what they've said/contributed and still remain anonymous.

Note: We were considering "Cup o' Tea" to go along with the site's name, but "Cup o' Joe" just seemed more classy to us; and besides, we're not all British here.
